Andalusian Health Service (SAS) professionals who need to care for European citizens during their visit to Andalusia will be able to access their digital medical history, provided that the home health system has this service.
This new measure is possible thanks to the participation of SAS in the European innovation project entitled “Generic cross-border e-health services in Spain”.
Likewise, Andalusians traveling to Member States of the European Union will benefit from the same service in the different health systems. By identifying themselves with their Andalusian health card, the professional attending them will be able to access their digital medical history.
The program is funded by HADEA, within the framework of the CEF Telecom program, and is already operational in other European countries, providing this service in emergencies of health centers and hospitals.
On his return to his country, via the ClicSalud + web portal, the citizen who has been treated in the Andalusian public health system will be able to consult or download the information on the care received, either for his information or to present it to a professional. of their place of origin.
So that citizens can know and benefit from the different services, the SAS has produced various audiovisual media to disseminate them and that citizens can make use of them. They can be viewed on the following link: http://lajunta.es/3jo9m.
